In other words Sins can support easily 10x as many units in a battle as EaW can, perhaps much more than that. In Sins the number of equivelent units (capitalships) you can have is 16, plus hundreds of smaller frigates and cruisers. *Scale: In Vanilla EaW, the largest fleet you can have at one time is just 5 Imperial Star Destroyers, with no other support units. If you really want me to list them, IMO Sins does the following better than EaW. In my opinion the combat and scale are what it does best. It is Empire at War that has the land combat as well, which probably divided its focus which caused the gameplay to be so mediocre.ĭon't all RTS games feature managing a civilization and expanding? Sure Sins has a bit more civilization style 4X Empire Management than EaW has, but its still definitely an RTS game at heart. I dunno, I'm not sure what to think of Sins.Īre you sure you're not getting these games confused confused? Sins is all about space combat. There doesn't seem to be too much to it beyond that. Any comments? And what exactly is it that makes this game unique? From what I've seen this game looks like a game where you manage a civilization and expand.

I've heard that this game (Sins) is a little bit lacking in that area.
